Norwegian Crisps

I love these crackers so much. So wholesome. So crispy. Good straight up. Oh, and they have “Norwegian” in them, so they must make me a better athlete.

Total time (including baking): 45 minutes. Makes one sheet pan full.

Materials: Mixing bowl; sheet pan; measuring vessels; spatula. Missing materials or ingredients? Look here.


  • ½ cup spelt flour
  • ¾ cup oats
  • ⅓ cup wheat bran
  • ¼ cup pumpkin seeds
  • ¼ cup flax seeds
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup water


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 350˚F.
  2. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Let sit 15 minutes for the water to be absorbed.
  3. Spread onto sheet pan.
  4. Bake at 350˚F for about 10 minutes, take them out and score them into rectangles, then bake for another ~25 minutes until they’ve crisped! Let cool completely before eating or they will be chewy.
